Standard Input / Output (`stdio.h`)

The <stdio.h> library provides the core I/O functions.

FunctionPurpose
printfFormatted output to stdout.
scanfFormatted input from stdin.
fprintf/fscanfI/O to/from a FILE*.
fgetsRead a line safely (avoids buffer overflow).
putsWrite a string followed by \n.
getchar / putcharSingle‑character I/O.

Always check the return value of scanf/fgets to verify that input succeeded.
