Course Overview & Setup

Welcome to Data Science with Python! This course will guide you through the entire data science workflow, from data ingestion to model deployment.

What you'll build

• Data cleaning scripts with Pandas
• Exploratory visualizations with Matplotlib/Seaborn
• Predictive models using scikit‑learn
• A deep learning image classifier with TensorFlow

Setting up your environment

We'll use conda to manage packages. Open a terminal and run:

conda create -n ds-python python=3.11
conda activate ds-python
conda install numpy pandas matplotlib seaborn scikit-learn jupyterlab
conda install -c conda-forge tensorflow pytorch

Tip: If you prefer pip, replace the above commands with pip install equivalents.
